This is a favorite hands-on activity that utilizes measuring and math. Teams of students will construct a scale model of the Apollo Saturn V moon rocket. This model comes apart into its different stages so that students can simulate each step of the Apollo moon missions. Made entirely of single strength cardboard. The finished model is over three feet tall. The time for completion depends on the size of each team (approximately 5 hours).
