Learning Spanish colors with children's literature
This lesson uses the bilingual children's story My colors, my world / Mis colores, mi mundo. It is divided into 3 parts.
1. Pre-reading strategies: Brief discussion on cognates and a list of the cogantes in the story; Color terminology variations
2. Reading: A screencast recording created by me from a Power Point, narrating the story both in Spanish and English. The story lasts 10 slides long, the screencast is 1 minute 49 seconds.
