This is a small experiment that can be done for Halloween fun! All you need is water, oil, vinegar, jars (or even small dixie cups), and candy corn! The lab sheet is made for 3-6 graders but you can just have lower level students make their Hypotheses and findings in their journals or extra sheet of paper. This is a standard lab safety contract. Don't forget to edit the teacher's name and school name before you hand them out to the students. I usually print 2 on a full sheet, shipping label, then cut them in half. This way the students can peel and stick the label on the front cover of their journal. It will not fall out like when you use glue sticks.
