This resource is designed to help students practice and fine tune writing skills. Students will be asked to complete 8 challenges. Students will have various time limits on each challenge (in ppt). Students do one or two rounds of each challenge. The first 4 challenges are practicing steps of the writing process and the last 4 are grammar skills.

On Demand TAP Scoot

Welcome friends! In my classroom we use TAP for our On demand writing pre-writing strategy. When learning about TAP I have found it useful to play a game of Scoot. I hang the cards around the room and have students Scoot every minute or so, depending on how long they need. When we are done we check our work and discuss any misconceptions we might have.
