TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for 11 years in the best school district in the state. I spent most of that time in state tested grade levels (4th and 5th). I've been through the Ron Clark Academy Experience and to Get Your Teach On conferences. I love teaching gifted and takented students, but also encouraging my colleagues to keep the bar high for our lowest quartile and offering support and engagement so that they can defy gravity and reach their goals, too!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love music and projects. My students call me, "Kusiak THE MUSICAL". I love to encourage my students to explore and break barriers. Project based learning is my JAM and I believe in preparing my students for LIFE, not just the state test or even the next school year.
