Les Miserables: Flipchart Pre-Lesson/Introduction for Movie
This flipchart lesson contains over 10 slides of information about the novel "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo. The chart uses colorful photos from the most recent film version of "Les Miserables," which stars Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean.
I use this lesson on the plot of Les Mis as an introduction to the story before showing the film in my French III class. The level of French utilized in this lesson is best suited for French 3 or 4, but it can be taught at lower levels through assisted reading

French Culture Project
This is a project that will allow students to explore French cultures around the world. The project is divided up to allow for different level learners to take on appropriate tasks: Poster, Poem, Find 5 facts from given text, then open research. The lesson allows for you to do an example of each step as a whole class, then they can divide into groups and you can use the spin wheel to decide who gets what region. Will require Smart Notebook 11 or older to open this lesson.

l'Abbaye Notre Dame de Senanque: Lavender Fields of France
This flipchart lesson contains 7 slides of information about the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Senanque, the beautiful location in Southern France where monks grow fields of purple lavender.
