As they create their country and write their nations history, they are instructed to follow the same basic historical foundation as either Italy or Germany. Wonderful document for recording family facts and memories. This is a culture assignment that will be treasured for who knows how long. I hand out as extra credit, but I strongly encourage their use... where else will this information ever be captured? Students just ask questions of parents and grandparents. The Great Wall of China will come to life as your students recreate this ancient wonder out of paper! Google Earth Scavenger Hunt
This is a fairly straightforward Scavenger Hunt to use with Google Earth. Students simply type in the coordinates and record their findings.
