This is a 30 second political campaign video created for Ice Cream. This was used in a Kindergarten Voting Lesson where the students were voting between two candidates: Ice Cream or Pizza. The purpose of the video is to show the students the various attributes and good qualities of Ice Cream. The video tries to persuade the students to vote for Ice Cream. This project was used in my grade 4 class. We learned about politics, strategizing, time management, presentation skills and teamwork through this project. It was due the day before 'international balloon day', so I called it balloons and ballots.The reflection tied into our well-being unit. We talked about how it feels to be defeated at a task, how it feels when fake news is spread about you, etc.
