Defending Our Rights Assignment
In this assignment, students will apply what they know about the constitutional amendments to real life situations. They will pretend they are a defendant, and prepare an opening statement to defend the rights of the people whose constitutional rights were violated. This can easily be adapted if you want students to have the choice to be the defendant or the prosecutor. The two choices I've provided are the Breonna Taylor case, and a case related to gentrification and eminent domain in Atlanta.

Becoming a Global Citizen
This resource is the first lesson for primary school aged students to begin their journey of changing the world.
Learning objective: To understand that we have rights and corresponding responsibilities as Global Citizens.
It includes a self-explanatory lesson in the form of a powerpoint presentation, an inspiring video created by Malala Yousafzai (the Pakistani Noble Prize winner) and a Global Citizen Passport template for the children to complete.
