What inspired Watch Mama Teach?
Like so many educators, when I leave work and take off my teacher hat, I come home and put on my mama hat. So many phenomenal educators struggle with work-life balance. Prioritizing and managing my time has been crucial in maintaining that balance for me. My goal with Watch Mama Teach is to create high-quality resources and curriculum, so you don't have to.
You can have highly adaptive, engaging, and differentiated lessons and activities for your classroom with ease and spend more of your time on the people and things you love.
Experience
I have experience working with a wide variety of learners including students from grades K-5.
Most of my experience has been in third grade working with students of all ability levels. I've worked with ESOL, gifted, and students with disabilities. During my time teaching these students, I have written curriculum for all content areas to meet the needs of these students.
Teaching Style
I believe that all children should be given the opportunity to love school! Making schoolwork engaging for students helps them to develop a love for learning!
When I create my TPT products, I aim to provide high-quality resources that are both easy for the teacher to use and are both academically rigorous and highly engaging for students. Many of my products incorporate multiple learning styles (kinesthetic, auditory, visual, etc.) and are aligned to standards.
