Force and Motion Writing Prompts

These Force and Motion Writing Prompts accompany my unit on Force and Motion. They can also be used as a stand alone activity or paired with an assessment for a constructed response-style question. These writing activities promote creativity and critical thinking about topics such as gravity, friction, force, and motion!

Students can work independently or collaborate with partners to complete the assigned writing prompt. Three different types of writing (narrative, informational, and opinion) are included to differentiate instruction and meet student needs and learning objectives. This product could also be used to make cross-curricular connections between science and literacy content during literacy centers or writing instruction.

This product includes four different writing prompts. The writing prompts include two narrative prompts, one informational prompt, and an opinion prompt. Teacher instructions and a rubric are also included.
