I taught Family and Consumer Science for seven (7) years, ranging from Fashion Design I and II, Fashion Marketing, Interior Design, Child Development, Dollars and Sense, Principles of Human Services, Interpersonal Studies and Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness. I am also a professional chef and culinary school instructor for a national food/health retail chain in Texas. It is my whole-hearted passion to share my practical skills and knowledge to all my students so that they can successfully transition in this fast-paced, ever-changing society that we live in.
Very hands on - learner-centered. I enjoy giving project prompts to my students instead of cookie-cutter projects and let them come up with their own presentation style.
