TEACHING EXPERIENCE

At this point, I feel like I've taught everything at least once. I have been teaching in multiple schools up and down the North State. I spent ten years at the Junior High Level, then went up to High School, then down to primary. I worked in the area of primary intervention services for a while, but then moved back to the high school level teaching regular English classes and AP once again.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a pretty structured teacher overall, but I find that my style fluctuates (as it should) based on subject and age-group. Therefore, you'll find quite a mix of materials and activities ranging from highly structured, to very open and exploratory.

I hold a BA in Social Studies with an English minor, three teaching credentials (English SS, Social Studies SS, and Multiple Subjects), and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction (focus on Curricular Design).
