TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I started teaching middle school science in August of 2013. I taught 7th grade for six years. I taught two sections of 8th grade science during the 2017-2018 school year in addition to teaching 7th grade. This position was at a Title 1 campus. Beginning in August 2019, I will be teaching only 8th grade science.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Kids need multiple opportunities to learn content. For almost every unit I teach, kids are reading, writing, drawing, coloring, listening researching, and creating! This ensures they interact with content in a variety of ways to really cement learning and understanding.
