TEACHING EXPERIENCE

While student teaching, I had the opportunity to teach grades K-12 in a public, urban school district. My first full-time teaching position is at a high school in the Washington, D.C. area. I currently teach Foundations of Art and Digital Art classes, each of which includes students in grades 9-12.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style emphasizes the importance of students having a choice in the content and style of their work. I believe in providing broad guidelines to allow students to create personal meaning through their projects.
