I have worked as a Learning Specialist in a hospital and private setting helping children with specific learning disabilities, attention disorders, and autism spectrum disorders succeed in the classroom.
I am all about engaging activities and active learning. I truly believe that kids learn best when they are engaged and interested in the topic through games and "passive" learning in which they do not even recognize they are learning or mastering a skill. I'm also very organized and like to have well-planned intervention sessions!
