Sing With Me Sight Words

This store has my sight word songs and my elementary school products. I wrote my sight word songs for Sarah when she couldn't learn her sight words any other way. She has moderate mental impairment and other learning problems.

As my professor told me after reviewing my lesson plans, "Heather, your kids will never be bored!" I believe in using lots of different approaches to teach kids. Multiple approaches is the only way to make sure you reach every kid. I believe in using manipulatives and hands on experiences to initially teach a concept. I use worksheets to reinforce a skill I've already introduced.

Sue Mc Tigue is my partner on this first Sight Word CD. She is a Master Teacher in Music in Colorado Springs and a mentor for the district. I have also worked with Eric Ambler on two of my Cd's. He has been fantastic as well. Eric is a master teacher in Indiana and has been asked to give teacher workshops.

I am enrolled in a Master's of Education Program at Kaplan University with a concentration in Special Needs.

I married my high school sweetheart, Tony, who served as a Family Practice Physician in the Army and then in Iraqi Freedom.
