TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked in a variety of special education classrooms including a Life Skills classroom for 3rd -5th grade, Resource Room for Kindergarten through 6th graders and Developmental Preschool. I have been honored to teach many wonderful students who have in turn taught me a lot! Students I have a taught in the past had variety of exceptional needs including but not limited to ADHD, Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Autism, Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Dyslexia.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I care about helping children to gain independence and confidence! When I teach I always look for students strengths. I try to point out every little success and triumph as kids are learning something new! Many of the resources you'll find in my store are designed to be inclusive, so that students at varying stages can learn together. I value posting high quality resources in my store, because I know that quality materials and lessons help students stay engaged in learning.
