I am currently staying home with my son, but miss being in the classroom! I taught first grade for five years and absolutely loved it! It is such an important year that lays the foundation for a successful educational career. I have also taught pre-kindergarten, second grade, and third grade in the past.
While teaching, I have a child centered classroom that focuses on my students' needs, strengths, and weaknesses. I differentiate instruction as much as possible and use hands on learning as much as I can. I try to make learning fun so that my students enjoy it and don't feel bored and overworked.
