I have completed four years of full time teaching in a high school science classroom. The focus of my time has been teaching grade 11 and 12 chemistry but I have also taught several sections of physics 11/12 and history 10. Prior to teaching in high schools I was a laboratory instructor for university general chemistry and organic chemistry while I completed my masters degree in protein structural science.
I pride myself on having a classroom that is inquiry, laboratory, and hands-on focused. My students complete worksheets of course, however, most of them are self-assessed with fully annotated answer keys available in a binder at the front of the room. As such much of what I post here will be worksheets with answer keys available and labs that I have developed during my time as a teacher.
