TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 2004. I planned to work with middle school students, but fell into a job teaching pre-K right out of college and quickly fell in love with early childhood! I have found my place in first grade where I can mix my love of strong academics with the excitement of young learners.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach using workshop model. I provide quick mini-lessons and then plenty of time for students to work independently to further new skills. Students in my class are constantly talking and working together to further understandings and build upon the material I presented.
