TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a high school and middle school teacher with over 18 years of teaching experience in the classroom and beyond. I teach English Literature, Special Education and French.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Creative, interdisciplinary, engaging rich tasks to make learning meaningful and enjoyable for students and teaching for the teacher. I am inspired by the Universal Design for Learning model and I create resources that are Differentiated and support Social Emotional Learning. I love supporting all learning styles, and students with all kinds of abilities - so there are never limits for any student. Attention to Analysis is important to me in order to foster critical thinking as is grounding in the fundamentals of Literature and Language study. My philosophy is that learning and teaching is something that we do IN-JOY!
