TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 12th year teaching English Language Arts and I love what I do! I currently teach 9th Grade Honors English and Interpersonal Communication. Other Courses Taught: 9th Grade English, Public Speaking, Journalism, Advanced Journalism, Creative Writing, Connections, AP Language. Other Experience: Student Newspaper Adviser, District Curriculum Writer.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am passionate about engaging students and creating quality materials for my own classroom-- C311. I believe a strong classroom community is key. I am detail orientated and standards driven. I credit my love of teaching to my teacher grandmother who first introduced me to the love of learning.
