I have worked as a Social Studies teacher for seven years. This includes experience at both the High School and Junior High level teaching US History, Government, Economics, and Personal Finance.
In the classroom I strive to reach all learners with multiple intelligences, I provide varied forms of instruction to both engage students, and enable them to use critical thinking skills. I am able to regularly incorporate technology into the classroom to engage students and develop their 21st century skills. My classroom also has a variety of formative and summative assessments in order to gauge student learning.
