In addition to teaching in the NYCDOE for 15 years, I am also a product of the same system. Having attended public school in the Bronx from K- 12 grade. As such, I have a keen awareness of both how to convey information and manage behaviors for those students who not have necessarily always shown the best scholastic choices.
