The education consulting partnership, Logos Instructional Solutions, was founded by Dr. Robert A. Pauker and David W. Griffith.
For over thirty years, Dr. Pauker has been an educational consultant to scores of public school districts. He is the founder of the Structured Writing & Thinking Program. He has designed multiple critical thinking strategies that have been implemented in hundreds of classrooms across all academic disciplines. Each of these thinking strategies is designed to enhance Common Core skills, as well as student comprehension, organization, and communication. Dr. Pauker works with administrators and teachers to match specific critical thinking strategies to the individual needs in the classroom.
Over the past twenty years, Mr. Griffith has taught in rural Texas, Washington DC, suburban Virginia, and the exurbs of Connecticut. He's a certified special education and English teacher with a masters' degree in curriculum and instruction. Currently, Mr. Griffith is the reading department head at one of the top high schools in Connecticut. Over the past several years, students in his reading courses have improved their reading comprehension skills by nearly three years in only four months of instruction. Mr. Griffith has taught and/or co-taught in middle and high school English, math, science, and social studies classes, and he's spent the last several years working at an alternative high school setting.
Dr. Pauker and Mr. Griffith respect and address every student's different learning styles through an interactive and student-centered approach. Their materials focus on the state standards and on accelerating student learning through proven critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making strategies.
