We have a combined 35 years of teaching experience! Laura has taught middle school Language Arts for 18 years in Iowa. Tricia has taught middle school Math for 17 years in Iowa.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We believe in collaborative cross-curricular opportunities for our students. We want students to be passionate about learning, so we include independent, investigative activities to foster their growth mindset.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Laura - I direct the 6th and 7th-8th grade plays. When I'm not at school I enjoy gardening, painting, and playing with my dogs. My husband and I are collaborating on writing noir mystery stories based on our travels around the midwest. Tricia - I have been married for 26 years and we have 3 children. We spend a lot of time with my son's hockey games and visiting our older children who have left the nest.
