TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I absolutely love teaching kindergarten. Every day is a new day and I am always ready to try new things. I am not afraid to have a little glitter or glue on my pants as long as there is giggling and learning in the classroom. Kindergarten is still fun...just have to find the right resources to meet their needs and standards.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My classroom consists of various workshop models. My students use the Daily 5 approach during our Reading, Writing and Math Workshop time. They participate in independent activities and are also served in small groups by myself and my assistant. I believe in hands on learning with an emphasis on integrating across the curriculum.
