Description

This is a perfect product to use to introduce addition, work with small groups and even allow students to work independently during workstations. Great scaffolding and differentiated instruction!

There are 4 main parts to this flipchart.

Part 1

You will read the word problem to your students. Then the students will count the objects in the box and record the number to fill in the number sentence.

Part 2

You will read the word problem and the students will manipulate objects to determine how many they need in each box. They will then record the number to fill in the number sentence.

Part 3

You will read the word problem and the students will draw their own picture to match the word problem. They will then record the number to fill in the number sentence.

Part 4
The students will read the number sentence and solve. There is space for them to draw pictures if needed.
