Just Add Teacher

I have taught for 18 years. I have taught US History, American I, American II, US History in a single semester, World History, Civics and Economics, Civic Literacy and Economics and Personal Finance. I have taught standard and Honors levels of all of those. I also currently teach AP Psychology. I also teach virtually for ALL of those courses as well. I have exceeded expected growth every year, in every course I have taught using the curriculum(s) I sell here. I am also a licensed EC teacher and have taught OCS American I and American II as well as Math 1, 2 and 3 (though that was just one year) I just recently started selling here after new teachers used my curriculum and raved about the organization and effectiveness of them, so I decided to sell them, though at a discounted price so they could reach more people.

I am an extremely organized person by choice (not nature :-)) so that I can be an entertainer and story-teller during class and my paperwork keeps my students, and myself, on track at all times. I teach using the curriculum I sell here combined with class discussion, stories and my generally obnoxious personality. I would hesitate to claim I "lecture" because everything I do in class in a two-way communication with my students at all times.

I am a National Board Certified Teacher in AYA Social Studies. I am additionally certified in both EC and AIG education. As far as teaching, I have exceeded expected growth every year it has been recorded, in every course that I sell in my store here on TpT... I am also a coach, and have been an 9 time Coach of the Year in multiple sports, so I fully understand the importance of having a structure inside the classroom to maximize time spent of duties and responsibilities outside the classroom, and my curriculum make that possible.

I have a BS in History Education from East Carolina University and a M.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where I graduated with a 4.0 As stated above, I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in AYA Social Studies

I am married and I have two kids, a boy and a girl. My wife is also a teacher and we come from parents who were teachers. We love what we do.
