I have a wide variety of experience. At the high school level, I've taught AP Language and Composition, drama, and various courses in literary studies. At the college level, I've taught rhetoric and composition, library research, and literature courses such as a class in British Romanticism. I have also worked as a editorial assistant on an Oxford University Press journal.

My teaching style can be encompassed in two main techniques: (1) have high expectations of your students to maximize their achievements; (2) interact with them honestly and genuinely--level with them and be upfront.

I have received various teaching and research awards over the years.

I have a Master's in English Literature and various certifications for the AP Language curriculum.

My husband and I live with three big dogs in the Rocky Mountain area.
