Harvey Grammar Resources

I have been working as a mid-and-senior year level English teacher for over ten years. I currently work as a Literacy Specialist and have worked as the English Curriculum Coordinator for the past five years. I work in Australia, and have experience developing resources for the Australian high school curriculum across a range of English, Literature and Humanities subjects.

I have a passion for teaching creative writing in a way that is engaging, thoughtful and creates a passion for reading and learning. My students value my in-depth analysis and structured learning tasks which support their deeper reading of texts and their abilities to craft well-structured responses.

I have a Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne. I have also completed a PhD in English/Literature. Prior to this I completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours, majoring in Creative Writing and Literature.

Who is Harvey? Harvey is my personal mentor, my ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is 13 years old, and has coincidentally been Principal of his own school, Harvey Grammar School, for 12.5. He may not have taught me everything I know, but he has taught me everything he knows.
