MY TEACHING STYLE

My greatest strength is creating relationships with my students, through their interests and experiences I am able to adapt yearly in order to be more culturally relevant to my students. This makes it difficult because I tend to not recycle or store my own work. I believe in highly collaborative work but I also value foundational skills needed to be successful given that I have seen students transition from Elementary to Middle School and how fundamentals are so important. I have taught both accelerated and intervention class thus I am critical when it comes to differentiation in the classroom.
