TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently, I am a first grade teacher in MD. While most of my experience has been in kindergarten and first grade, I did spend a short time in fourth, and am more than happy to share any ideas that I came up with during that time!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I LOVE to have fun! I think the more fun you can have, the more engaged and excited your kiddos will be about learning! Most of what I do in the classroom is based on a theme for each week and is completed as a small unit. It may not always have the coolest design, but my kiddos are still learning and having fun, and that's all that matters in the end isn't it?!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I am a graduate of Salisbury University on the eastern shore of Maryland. I studied early childhood education along with elementary education and came out fo school with a dual degree in those along with a math minor.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am originally from Long Island, NY. After traveling to MD for college, I made the bold decision to stay put and have never been happier! I am now the proud teacher of some FABULOUS first graders on the eastern shore of Maryland!
