Description
Multiplication can be hard enough for students to understand, but grasping the process of 2-digit by 2-digit multiplication was proving to be near impossible in my classroom.
I have created this Power Point to walk students through these difficult problems step by step through song, poem, or movement. In my store you will find the corresponding poem "2x2 Multiplication."
Have students recite the poem while using their feet or hands to show the movements described. Then, use right along with this power point.
The physical movements along with the catchy rhyme give students one more resource to help them through what can often be a tough topic.
