EXPERIENCE Hello, Welcome to my EnglishInsider store. I began my career as a high school and TESOL-trained teacher in Sydney, Australia. I taught ESL, EFL, literacy and numeracy for more than 20 years locally and overseas before working as a Learning Designer and a Disability support teacher. I believe these careers tie in nicely - enabling me to synthesize a range of skills to create online learning resources.
While most of my experience has been in adult education, I can see that some of my resources may be transferable to other subject levels. Or modified to suit your area. My teaching experience has included helping migrants and refugees understand the culture and society that they live in as well as language teaching. My resources reflect this. I have also supported students in vocational training and academic courses. The free resources give you an idea of the file types, style and some of the content. The purchased resources have a lot more language content, interactive quizzes and activities. Please read through the description and instructions and let me know if you have any questions about the resources. A lot of my resources can be used in a flexible manner, both online digitally and printed. I believe in lifelong learning and sharing what I have learned. I’m currently tutoring adults and children privately online and I also enjoy volunteer teaching when I can. I recently did volunteer teaching in Bhutan. Thank you to all the purchasers. If you have a moment, please rate me and leave your comments or send me a message. Remember that you earn credits for every rating and comment that you provide. They would be most helpful in helping me improve or get an idea of what you like.Thank you for checking out my store.
I aim for engaged learning and language learning in context. I use UK/Aus English.
