TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a high school English teacher for the past 18 years. I absolutely love teaching! I love the interaction with others that teaching affords me, and I absolutely live and breathe Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet! Over the years, I have taught Peer Mediation (Focusing on effective conflict resolution skills), Career Pathways (Focusing on providing students with the skills they will need after high school in order to get jobs, and become successful citizens), and all levels of learners in English (Grade 9). This year I have also been teaching a Drama class which has truly been a challenging, but rewarding experience!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is simple and can easily be summed up ― "People will not care how much you know until they know how much you care." ― Theodore Roosevelt
