LIP-SYNC PROJECT - DRAMA

This activity includes a rubric and guidelines for students to perform a Lip-Sync Project. Students can be enrolled in Drama class (really any level of knowledge) or Music class.
ACTIVITY: Students choose an appropriate song, and for this rubric up to 3 people may perform one song and receive credit, if ALL performers are singing throughout the entire song.
RUBRIC: This activity also includes a rubric as to how the lip-sync will be graded on the following criteria:
1) Time / Timing (minimum of 2 minutes long)
2) Lip-Sync Knowledge of Material
3) Costuming
4) Performance Style
5) Audience awareness
DEADLINES: The deadline portions have been left blank so that you can tailor the dates for your specific deadlines. I've found in the past, that have three deadline "check dates" helps produce the best Lip-Sync Performances. Students absolutely love this activity!
