TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2007. In 2009 attained a master's degree in Library Media. I taught elementary school for 6 years before "retiring" to raise my babies. I have four children five and under. I enjoy making resources for elementary educators in my spare time. MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that young children learn best through play and hands-on experience. My instruction tends to be a balance of play/exploration and the drill that is mandated by our state. I tend to relate most subject areas to nature study and science because it is something I enjoy. Children naturally gravitate towards animals and nature and I love to foster their curiosity!
