What educators are saying

This is a great set of morning work activities! Students find them fun, engaging, and appropriately scaffolded.
I use this produce along with other calendar math stations to work on handwriting skills. I like this produce because it also has number skills as well.

Description

Morning work for your kindergarteners! This is part 2 of my set.

No more scrambling to find something for them to do! You're done and ready with this packet.

Included is four weeks worth of morning work for each month. Each week includes five days of morning work.

INCLUDED:
Tips on how to get this up and running in your classroom.
January- 20 sheets (4 weeks, 5 days per week)
February- 20 sheets
March- 20 sheets
April- 20 sheets
May- 20 sheets
Cover Pages - 6 sheets
106 sheets total

Each day, your students will have the opportunity to...

1) Write a morning message which is dictated by you (great chance for letter, sight word practice- more tips on how to use this in the pack).
2) Count and write numbers. They will also work regularly with dot arrangements (reinforcing addition facts even when you're not doing them yet), five frames, ten frames, missing numbers, and number trains. In April, sums to 5 is introduced.
3) Color a simple picture.

You'll love...
-That the language portion of the morning work is 100% customizable. You write the morning message on the board and they write it in the space provided.
-The work is consistent. Once your students get the hang of it they'll know what to do and you can take care of morning duties.
-The math portion correlates with the common core.
-The work builds on itself and slowly increases in difficulty throughout the year. However, it is kept on your kindergartner's independent level so that they can complete it without your help. I know you are busy in the morning! :)
