I was a teacher for 15 years before I left the classroom to work full-time as a freelance educational writer and editor. I have now been working in the field of instructional design for a decade. During that time, I have written or co-authored more than 80 titles. Some of the materials I have written have won major educational awards, and I have worked on projects published in conjunction with such well-known publishers as TIME For Kids and World Almanac for Kids.
