I started my career after college by working in the graphic design and advertising industry with different local and international corporations, but I started teaching computer graphics in 1998 and still find it very exhilarating.
I have been teaching digital art and technology courses for the past 20 years to middle school students. I work with as many other teachers as possible on cross curricular projects. The school I work for believes in arts infusion and use of the multiple intelligences so these elements are also incorporated into my teaching style.
I have won various awards for both my personal and professional work throughout the years.
Graduate of Ringling College with a BFA. Graduate of the University of South Florida with a Masters Degree in Education
I am a member of the FAEA and NAEA and participate in as many diverse professional development opportunities as possible. I welcome feedback from other teachers on professional development opportunities that they have enjoyed and found beneficial to their teaching.
