TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently teaching 5th grade. Before this year I spent 8 yrs teaching Kindergarten and have also taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th grades. I have been teaching 26 years. During some of that time I taught part time and had a private preschool in my home.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I feel it is important to engage students with activities that increase interest. I like to do hands on activities as much as possible and then have students complete a worksheet or writing activity to show what they have learned.I feel that writing is important in all subjects.
