I hold a Masters Degree in Social Work which followed by working with Looked After Children before working as a childrens Clinical supporting children with mental wellbeing. My goal is to help implement creative ways of working with children to promote and support their wellbeing and support adults around them to learn about methods of support too. I have also volunteered cross-culturally in both Africa and Portugal with children as young as from birth to teenagers. In addition I have also worked alongside a Neuroscientist recently and together we have launched a range of creative tools to help professionals and caregivers engage and support the wellbeing of children. I have extensive experience working in childhood development, Trauma approaches and adversity (ACEs) and working clinically using a range of therapeutic and holistic approaches with families, Foster families, children placed in children's homes, children facing breakdowns of placements and unaccompanied asylum seeking children and mental health support. I have previously worked in Early Education, Primary Schools, Supported in two over seas Orphanages, worked in Mental Health and Physical Health Support as well as working as a designer.
I believe in relationship building through creative thinking. I am also driven by holistic, solution-focused, therapeutic approaches.
