TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 7th year teaching in a rural county with 1 high school. I teach a range of abilities from regular to PreAP to AP level chemistry students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I mix how my students receive their content. I do a fair amount of direct instruction, but I also incorporate inquiry, labs, songs, video clips, and reading guides as sources of content. I keep all of these organized via Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/chemdemo/ My students know that the business of learning comes first, but that if we are accomplishing that, we can have some fun at the same time!
