Full Year of Reading Guides + Unit Outlines using Zumdahl (AP Chemistry)

This bundle includes 12 reading guides (with keys) + unit outlines that correspond to a full year of AP Chemistry using Zumdahl's Chemistry (10th edition).

Each reading guide is intended to help students effectively read a college-level science textbook by having them:

· focus on key terms

· interpret figures & graphs

· make content connections

· address common misconceptions

· organize information

· draw diagrams

· apply examples to new problems.

Keys have starred questions where students are applying knowledge (great if you only spot check to grade) as well as what page answers can be found on.

An outline for each unit is included. Each is paced for 90-minute blocks, and includes:

· dates (add them depending on your pacing)

· topics for each day with any labs, activities, POGILs or FRQs either linked or named

· reading to do before class, with book sections & page numbers

· suggested practice problems from the end of chapters

· topics students should remember from Honors chemistry

I give these outlines to students for every unit (comments & links removed) and jot notes on one for myself of what works and doesn’t.
