TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for what feels like a lifetime but has in fact been 15 years. Most of those years have been in third grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I give my students a hands on learning experience with a gradual release of control. I like to follow an "I do", "We do", "You do" approach to learning. Students share their knowledge with each other through lots of sharing and classroom discussions. Just recently, I started doing Daily 5 in the classroom during reading. There is alot going on in my classroom each and every day!
