Becca's Kindergarten Creation

I have taught kindergarten children for 18 years and 2nd grade children for the 10 years previously. I love what I do!!! I have been a leader with the curriculum development and assessments that have been used in my district. I have been the team leader for our kindergarten team many times over the last 18 years and most recently the last 4 years.

Children First! I keep high expectations to encourage personal best from my students. Learning is a result of teamwork, creative & challenging lessons, hands on learning in which all makeup our learning environment.

I have just been named our Teacher of the Year! I am so excited. What an honor. I have also had the honor of being appointed the team leader for the last 2 years at our new school. This is such an honor to lead this amazing group of teachers.

I have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I have my Masters in Reading Education. I then continued on to receive my Masters +30 additional hours credit. I also am an Early Childhood Generalist National Board Certified Teacher. This was one of my most rewarding and greatest learning experience in my teaching career.
