Description

This is a fun fill unit on Fairy Tales. All activities are centered on common core!! This unit is made for 2 weeks. Included in this unit are:
Literacy
• 1 non fiction read aloud book – Fairy Tales
• Chart entitled : Fairy Tales Often Have
• 2 interactive sight word books
• class poem for literacy
• Roll A Sight Word Sheet & cube
• 2 flow maps activities (can use in reading journal) – Jack and the Beanstalk & The Three Little Pigs
• Brace Map – Whole class & individual –Three Little Pigs
• Class & individual double bubble thinking map comparing Jan Brett’s The Three Snow Bears and Goldilocks and the Three Bears (This is also in my Winter Unit – I do these this unit right after my winter unit so there are times I begin it early in my winter unit)
