I have been a high school science teacher for 8 years, which has included teaching Biology to currently just Zoology. Prior to teaching I worked as a veterinary technician/assistant, wildlife intern and zoo volunteer.
My teaching style is to engage students and build critical thinking skills. My lessons are interactive and hands-on, which include drag-n-drops, webquests, dissections, lab station activities, modeling and research. I want students to explore the world of the animal kingdom and all its interconnections.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology (Zoology Emphasis).
I have a passion for animals and the environment they live in. I love to teach about real-world phenomena and scenarios involving animals. I love to travel by RV camping and cruises, where I can experience nature through hiking, kayaking or snorkeling.
